I thought I'd do a little update on mine and Devin's past month.
On April 30th, we had to be out of our apartment in Rexburg, Idaho. We spent the next 20 days homeless.
-Apr 30-May 4th:We spent the first part in Cokeville spending time with Devin's family. We also go to go see Brynlee's end of the year dance performance.
-May 4th: Drove to American Falls to spend the night with Adam and Shauna. It was nice to spend time with them and to see their house and town.
-May 5th: Next we made it to Moses Lake. We spent a week here. It was fun spending time with Devin's Grandma and Grandpa Hill. We also got to be there for Jake's homecoming and Mitch's farewell! I was lucky enough to go to a cooking show with some of the girls, which was really fun! We even had a BBQ with the Hill bunch over at Anika and Will's (thanks for having us!)
-May 12-13th: We stayed in a motel for one night so Devin could start his new job at Boeing in Bellevue, Washington.
-May 13th-15th: We went down to Vancouver to visit my family. It's nice only being 3 hours away from them. That is, when there isn't traffic.
-May 15-May 19th. Back to a hotel. We're glad this phase of our month is over. But it was kind of fun.
-May 20th: Move in Day! We were finally able to get into our apartment. We're loving it so far. It's in a really nice neighborhood in Issaquah, Washington. We're only 11 miles away from Devin's work and the commute has been fine.
Since then we've just been unpacking and exploring the area. Devin's getting the hang of his new job and I am job searching. My family came up this weekend to visit. We fit all 5 of them in our apartment, so we now know we can accommodate visitors! Let us know if you want to come visit!!
Us at Snoqualmie Falls, not far from our house.

Devin's final Art Project
Like our new blog background? (you can tell me the truth if you think it's too orange) Want to know where I got it? I stole it from Devin's final Art Project! Because this was Devin's last semester (yup, he's a graduate, check back in a few days for a post on that) he was able to take a few fun classes. One of them was graphic design. For his final project, he had to design a poster for an Art Exhibit featuring Eva Zeisel.
He had to make 3. Which is your favorite?
P.S. If you haven't heard already, there are a lot of Shabby Apple (dresses for women) giveaways going on. Today, I won a dress!! Head on over to my floral blog to see where you can enter to win one too!!

Memories
Today, I was reading through all of our old blog posts. It was fun to go back and read the posts from before we were married. The first post I made was before we were even engaged! Ha. I was even already set to be a Hill, naming the blog DKHillStory. Even though my family didn't believe me, I knew we were getting married. Sure enough 5 days after I posted this Devin proposed.
It's fun looking back at old memories.
Here's a link to that very first post: Pre-Dating-History
And, just for fun I thought I'd throw in a picture of Devin and I at the first social event I took him to as my "boyfriend." October 30th, 2008

Our Bedroom Curtains
I made these curtains a few months ago and Devin and I just barely got around to buying a curtain rod and hanging them up.
They are on a pencil rod. I like them because they are so versatile. They keep the light out and we're hoping it will help keep the cold out too! (our windows are horrible)
