Taking Doran to the Blue Angels

Doran loves all things that involve transportation, which means we knew he need to go see the Blue Angels. It was really hot, but he had fun watching for a while. We went during a practice day so that it wasn't as busy.

I love the planes in the back of this pictures and the trail.

A hot Snoqualmie Falls

This has been the warmest, sunniest summer in Seattle. We've loved it. On Saturday, we thought it would be refreshing to visit Snoqualmie Falls. But, everyone else had the same idea. It was packed. And hot. Too hot to go hiking. So we took a few pictures and headed out. We did get some good burgers at a local burger joint though!

Playing with Cousins

Our favorite part of visiting Cokeville this summer was Doran being able to play with his cousins. He has 13 cousins on Devin's side (1 on the way, that i know of) and 1 on my side (1 on the way). He got to see them all while we were there. We wished we lived closer so could play with them more often.

Although, Blakely and Doran could get into some trouble together.

Sprinklers

Can you tell they're cousins?

Favorite picture from the whole trip:

Blakely and Doran on the ranch.

Sharing food.

Bubbles. A toddlers best toy.

Campfire and Weenie roast

After the weekend, Kylee headed back to Utah to take Lance back to the airport. Which meant we got triplets for the day! Even with 3 adults (me, Devin, and Chris) having three 1 year olds was a lot of work, +Brynlee and Boston. We went up Pine Creek for a weenie roast. It was a good time and I got some beautiful pictures of the kids.

How cute are Aynslee and Doran together? We printed off the one of them eating their marshmellows and Doran loves looking at it. "Ma-mewo!"

Harper had a rough day, but I love that Aynslee is comforting her.

How cute are these peek-a-boo pictures?

And of course, the cutest of them all:
We loved spending so much time with cousins. Wish we lived closer to all of them!

Brynlee's Baptism

While we were on our summer Wyoming trip, we were lucky to attend the baptism of our niece, Byrnlee. All 13 grandchildren were there. Take a picture of 13 kids ages 8 and younger can be a bit challenging. I was only able to get 12 of the 13

The boys, Doran and Waylon

5 of the 6 babies that will be in the same grade. 3 born in September, 1 October, 1 December, and 1 March.

Fireworks in Cokeville

On the 4th of July we drove up to Cokeville. We went to a BBQ with the town. Doran enjoyed seeing the train go by, but the horn hurt his ears. He doesn't have very good luck when it comes to his ears. We did fireworks at Devin's parent's house that evening with the Clarks

The picture is blurry, but this is how we were lighting our fireworks.

Doran was fascinated with the fireworks. He didn't like the sound, but he liked the to see the bottle rockets and the sparklers.

Puddles and S'mores

We went down to Vancouver for a weekend visit. I can't wait for the day that we have a house with a yard. It was so nice to just go out in the front or back yard whenever we wanted to play.

It rained and we played in the gutter puddle. One of my favorite childhood memories is racing cars down our street after a summer rain fall with my brothers. Stephen found some Styrofoam boats he made for a school project and we floated those.

We had the best pizza ever at a local restaurant and then came home for Doran's first ever s'more. I made him a memory book and it has one of these pictures of him in it. Sometimes when he sees it he says, "chocolate, marshmallow" (in his language, of course) over and over again. That boy loves chocolate. Clearly, learned that from me.

Except, he doesn't like to get his hands dirty. "hans,  hans" means he wants his hands cleaned.
