Emma jean ate a full meal today on her own. While she's been eating real food on her own for awhile, this is what I'm dubbing her first real full meal. I gave her lasagna and green beans.
She stopped eating after awhile and I was kind of surprised, I thought she would be going to town. She was watching me take a drink and immediately opened her mouth and made the sound "ah ah ah" She was thirsty! After I gave her a drink, Emma went back to eating. Such a big girl.

9 months old, almost 10.
I'm bad. Doran turns 10 months old next week, and I'm just barely blogging about him turning 9 months old. And you know what's the worst? I already forgot all the little details of what he was doing at 9 months old! He is growing so fast! I have a document on my phone where I write down all of his milestones and "firsts". The list used to be periodical and infrequent, but now it seems every day I am writing something down. But, I'll save those details for the next post.
At 9 months old, Doran discovered his appetite for people food, and meat! He had his first full meal the day of his 9 month old appointment: Creamy, Cheesy, Chicken soup. A couple days later he had spaghetti! He loves eating. At 9 months old he had 4 teeth!
Luckily, I did take 9 month old pictures at the right time. The first day I tried taking Doran's 9 month old pictures, he was not cooperating. He didn't want to stay on his back, or show his face.
He has been trying to crawl, but gives up after a step or two. Army man method his preferred method!
The next day, he was much more smiley!
I also captured this video, which perfectly demonstrates Doran right now. You can even see food remnants on his face. He's a messy eater.

The Zoo and a Troll
It was buy one get one free at the Zoo for Boeing employees, so we thought it would be fun to take Doran.
The baby Giraffe was just born last week. How cute. Doran liked watching the Giraffes because they were actually close enough to see.
Little man watching the Elephants, they were also close enough to see.
The Leopards were the funnest to watch! There were 3 cubs and they were playing with their Mama!
On the way home we finally stopped at the famous troll under the bridge!

Happy Grandparents Day!
My parents became grandparents on grandparents day last year, when Cordin was born. They love being grandparents and they are so good to Doran. Devin's parents have 13 grand-kids and love every one of them! Doran is also blessed to have all of his great grandparents living! We are so grateful for all of our family and the support they give us. Happy Grandparents Day.
Since grandparents love pictures, I posted a lot of them. Doran is so curious these days that it is difficult to take pictures of him outside. Good thing we took our family pictures before he got so curious.
