Quick visit and a trip to the park.

My parents made a quick stop at our house and the way to pick Preston up from college. We did a few of Doran's favorite things with them: feed the ducks, play at the park, and chase bubbles.

This is Doran at the ducks. He loves dropping bread into the water.

Grandparents are so much fun!

My Mom would blow the bubbles with the wand and my Dad and Doran would chase them around and pop them with a stick.

Chasing Bubbles

Doran has been so restless, we have been taking him and his walker outside to burn off some energy. He really enjoys pushing the walker around and going where ever he wants. He likes going over speed bumps and he likes to go towards the big street.

This particular time, we took the bubbles out and let him chase them.

Feeding the Ducks

One of our favorite new activities is to go and feed the ducks. When we went the first time this year, it was a gray and chilly day. It was very obvious that the ducks hadn't been feed by people in a while. They swarmed us and fought over my 3 slices of bread. I couldn't break the bread up fast enough. There were a few times were I jumped a little because they were flying at us. Doran loved it though! 2 of the ducks even followed us off the dock for a while. We ended up having to chase them back down in order to get them to stop following us.
