Exploring the Area

Devin and I finally made it to Washington! We stopped by Moses Lake for a fun visit with family and then on to our apartment!

We've been exploring the area while we wait for work to start. It took us awhile to find our way down to the sound (most of it is private access) but we found a way down on a sunny day!

The crab that Devin ate in Seattle. On our way down to Vancouver (we're in Vancouver right now) we stopped at Pike's Place Market. We had fun and ate some Seafood! Devin had a stuffed salmon with crab and shrimp and something else, but we can't remember.

We're MOVING!

Devin got an internship with Boeing and we will be moving to Everett, Washington! We leave this weekend. We're so excited for this opportunity.

In the map below, the the purple raindrop is where devin will be working. The orange A is where we will be living in Lynnwood (our apartment is only 2 miles away from the Puget Sound!), and the red raindrop is Seattle. It's such a pretty area to live and Devin and I are excited to spend the summer there! Plus, we're only 3 1/2 hours from my home in Vancouver, 3 1/2 hours away from the Hills in Moses Lake, and Nathan is right there in Seattle! 

And this is our apartment. We are finally going to have a dining area, but we aren't bringing our table! We haven't seen it yet. But the floor plan and pictures look good! Plus, there's even a walk in closet.

Spare Time

Well, Devin and I survived another semester at BYU-Idaho!

As of right now, we don't know what we are doing for the summer; however, we are hoping that Devin gets an internship!

Meanwhile, we have some time to spare. We have been teaching ourselves to design with photoshop. I designed this new background and Devin's designs are being saved for the right time!

Horticulture Closing Social.

On Friday, Devin and I went to the Horticulture Closing Social at West Piney Lodge. It was fun to be up there with my classmates! There was a gigantic slide, and of course they fed us good!! I was awarded the "Flora Bana Award for outstanding Student in Horticulture at BYU-Idaho" for 2010. I was also given my graduates horticulture pin!

The slide was super fun! Here is a picture below, just to see how big it is The first time I just went down on my bottom. Then, I was dared to go down using a blue sled. You CRUISE going down the sled.

The second time I went down using the blue sled, I stopped only a yard away from the dropoff into the creek. Then, my friend Jayci went. she was not so lukc. Below is Jayci and I after she went too far...

Trip to Casper Wyoming

This weekend Devin and I went to Casper, Wyoming to watch Kalen compete in the State wrestling tounament. It was fun to spend time with family! I also got to explore more of Wyoming. Blogger is retarded and I couldn't get the pictures in the right order, so just pretend.
