Klahanie Ward Youth Conference

I work with the Young Women at church and had the opportunity to spend time with the youth at Youth Conference.

It started out with a temple trip.

Followed by a Swim Party. Lots of junk food, and socializing. The kids swam and the leaders sat out and chatted.

The Mia maid table. (I'm pretty sure that every picture Noelle took of me, was just as fabulous as this pizza stuffed in face smile)

Or this one...

We woke up the next morning and head out for House of Hope where we stayed and did our main activity: service project building garden beds. Doran got to hang out with me for a little bit. I brought him home and then went back up for the night after Devin got home. I'm pretty sure we were more distracting (by we, I mean Doran) than helpful. He loved all the attention though.

The kids put a lot of energy and hard work into building 8 raised garden beds

This is my favorite picture from the trip. 2 types of levels. Doran's cup and an app.

We also had a lot of fun goofing off and playing games. Giant game of ninja.

They played paint twister and water balloon volleyball while I was gone dropping Doran off at home.

When I got back, we made bracelets, and had a campfire devotional followed by s'mores.

In the morning we had breakfast, braided hair and finished the garden beds.

Followed by a huge marshmallow gun war.

Overall, it was a great youth conference and really brought our ward closer together. I really love that it was centered around building garden beds for the residents of House of Hope.
