A very special Sister in my home ward, Sam Besses, gave me some awesome recipes and ingredients to make Lao (Laotian) Egg Rolls! Her Egg Rolls are amazing! During Christmas time, when everyone else in the ward/neighborhood brings cookies, fudge, and candies, Sam bring Egg Rolls. And, they are everyone's favorite! Yumm...
I was pretty nervous to make them myself, but I think they turned out alright! Its a good thing I cut down the recipe though because Devin and I never could have ate 50 eggrolls by ourselves.
Making these took some time, so not only are Sam's tasty treats delicious, but she puts a lot of time into them. Thanks Sam!
Here's my process in making the egg rolls:

I buy egg rolls at Costco but would love to make my own. Feel like sharing your recipe? I'm sure that I'm not the only one who will be interested.
It's true, Kristie. The American people want the recipe. AKA, I want it too. :)
Mmm, I think you should make them for us to try when you come home :) You know, so I know what they taste like before I try to make them! In other words, I'd like the recipe too!
But its a SECRET! I was so privileged to get it myself!!!
I'll think about it...
Although, I guess if I wanted to keep it a secret, I shouldn't have posted a picture of the ingredients.
