Sometimes it is crazy to think this little guy is already 4 months old.
He had his check up today; he's growing and healthy!
Height: 25.75 in (62.98%) he grew 2.25 inches since his 2 month check up.
Weight: 15 lbs 1 oz (37.05%) he gained 2 pounds and 9 ounces
Head Circumference: 42.5 cm (68.21%) no change. The doctor thinks his head must have been measured wrong at his 2 month appointment. Which, would explain why it was OFF the charts last time. Although, he has had a rather large head for a while, so maybe it hasn't changed a lot.
I was kind of surprised that he's only in the 37% for weight, because he seems so much bigger than most kids his age.
He loves to put his own thumb/hand in his mouth. He doesn't really suck, just licks and gnaws. He's pretty social and loves all of the attention he gets. He hasn't quite caught on to his toes yet, but has liked holding on to his own knees.
At 4 months old he is getting really good at grabbing his toys, or anything that is around. Anything in his hand heads straight for his mouth! He's been chewing on things, but no signs of teeth.
Doran is a very happy baby. He loves to laugh, squeal, and play. Lately, he's been trying to lift his own head up when propped against a pillow or a person. He loves to sit up and look around.
I'm still kicking myself for not taking a 2 month old picture. I was too busy taking Valentine's day pictures I forgot to take them with his sports balls.
Guilty confession: Kylee gave me the cutest months sticker to put on his outfits to watch him progress. Right before Doran was born, I organized all his stuff and found a home for everything. I've searched and searched, but can not find the home I put the little stickers in. Sorry Kylee.
